Most kids that are 5-7 years of are getting 52 mg of caffeine per day. That is equivalent to one soda. Kids that are 8-12 years old are getting the caffeine equivalent to 3 sodas per day. This is causing children to have poor sleep.
Instead of giving your child soda or other caffeinated beverages, why not give them milk. It is great source of vitamin D and helps bone growth.
