It has been shown in a new study, that men with prostate cancer may be twice as likely of showing signs of male pattern baldness at the age of twenty, that those without prostate cancer. Men who start losing there hair in their 30s and 40s do not appear to have a similar. Also those who start to lose hair in their 20s do not face a higher risk of developing cancer at an early age.
There is no hard evidence that men who experiance youthful hair loss can benefit from an early screening for prostate cancer.
It is always important to get regular screenings when you reach a certain age, or when your doctor recommends it. Be mindful of family histories of such disease and know your risks.
