What is a CRP test?
A C-Reactive Protein (CRP) Test is a blood test that measure the level of CRP in the body. Inflammation of the arteries is a risk factor for heart disease, and CRP is produced when there is inflammation in the body. CRP has been linked to an increased risk of heart attack, stroke and poor circulation (peripheral vascular disease).The CRP Test is part of our Essential Plus Screening Panel.
