that change is coming. This is the time when nature proceeds to give us a spectacular array of colors and brings cooler weather for most of the country. All signs to help prepare us for change. But what about your own body’s changes? Sometimes there are real obvious ones that we can actually see, like wrinkles and/or losing hair when getting older. But some changes can go unnoticed altogether because they take place internally and don’t show any “signs” (symptoms) we can see or even feel right away. Say for instance like diabetes and/or cancer. You could have one of those for months before really noticing any significant changes because the only “signs” that anything has change, is that you may become fatigued more often and/or start losing weight faster than normal without any changes in how you eat and/or exercise. Then there are a couple of STDs like Chlamydia & Gonnerhea that may not even show any “signs” at all until it’s too late to reverse the internal damage that has already taken place.
Well, like Fall (or any of the seasons) we know they come and go every year – that will never change. But for you, an annually health screening can be the biggest change you could do to help prepare for your own body’s changes or to just make sure there are no surprising ones lurking in the shadows. We prepare for changes in weather, so why not prepare for any possible changes in your body as well. It’s convenient, inexpensive and a smart thing to do – and just a click away.
