I Seem Healthy,

So everything must be okay. Right? Well, not so fast. Health in general is defined as: the state of being bodily and mentally vigorous and free from disease – World English Dictionary. But WHO (World Health Organization) describes health as: a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease. So, which healthy would you like to be? With obesity and diabetes on the rise it doesn’t seem like very many people know either definition.  There are always very good reasons to get a physical and have your blood checked even if you are feeling healthy. This is the last week of American Heart Health Month so why not make the best of it and take some time for you.

And since waiting for a doctor’s appointment can be annoying – you can check your own levels yourself on your schedule…just click here. Want to check your Cholesterol – done. Want a Complete Blood Count – done. Want to know your Iron levels – done. Want to see if you are pregnant other than relying on an over-the-counter stick – done. All very reasonably priced too so you don’t have to ‘break the bank’ for any one test or tests – no more excuses.
