Liposuction Not a Quick Fix

According to new research, fat that is surgically removed will come back, and it will be in places other than where it was removed. Liposuction destroys the structure under the skin where fat cells live, which is a theory for why fat does not reappear where it was removed. Unfortunately, fat comes back because after one fat cell dies another is formed to take its place.

The body is very protective of its fat cells so your best defense against fat is through diet and exercise. Since increased abdominal fat is associated with a host of health problems include Heart Disease and Diabetes, it should be a top priority to shed excess abdominal fat. Alas, liposuction may not be the quick fix that everyone is looking for.
