I guess it makes sense. I have a cat myself and I have to say, when he crawls up on my lap to snuggle in for a nap and starts purring…I can’t help but start to relax too. And quite honestly, most of the time, I end up falling asleep with him – which just happens to be another way to keep heart disease down as well. And ever since I was a kid, I’ve always had a dog so I was quite active running and taking them for walks – which is yet more activities that help keep your heart in great shape!
So whether you’re a cat person or a dog person or both – go give them a great big hug and thank them for helping improve your health (I would give them a special treat)!
