Nuclear fallout may have been prevented in Japan, but it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be aware of the effects of radiation and what levels are deemed safe. If fact, we added an exposure test to our site just in case the crisis there was not averted and did indeed affect the West Coast. Thankfully that didn’t happen though. The test involves getting a CBC (Complete Blood Count) which really, is a good inexpensive test to have done regardless of any radiation exposure. It can give you a good idea about how your overall health is.
But, outside of a nuclear power plant, radiation is all around us. And I always enjoy reading Dr. Mao’s articles and this one about radiation is particularly interesting and informative…: http://health.yahoo.net/experts/drmao/7-natural-ways-lower-radiation.
