How long has it been since you have had a tetanus shot? If the answer is more than 10 years, than you should get one.
If you were to get tetanus it could affect your skeletal muscles. For examples you could get lockjaw.
If you are going to get vaccinated you might as well get the Tdap vaccine. This also protects against Diphtheria, which can lead to breathing problems, paralysis, heart failure, and death; Pertussis, or the whooping cough; and of course Tetanus.
