With all the rain that came down over the weekend here in Chitown, I thought I’d take a minute to reflect – that like flooding, your health could be “flooding” with problems that you may not even know about. And like water damage, many issues can also be repaired and even prevented.
1. Test your Cholesterol – get a Lipid panel done. High cholesterol levels creates a risk for you and heart disease.
4. Have your Cortisol levels checked. Stress and/or depression could be due to abnormal levels.
2. Get your blood tested – have a CBC done. You could have some other underlying issue(s) that this will pinpoint.
5. Get tested for an STD to relieve any other worries you may have – especially if you are having sex with several different partners and are not using protection. Many STDs do not show any symptoms until it’s too late.
