What if my results are abnormal?
If you results produce an alert value, you will receive a call or letter from Medivo. You should speak with a healthcare provider to determine your next steps and best treatment options. TestMeHealth.com is not a healthcare provider. Your healthcare provider may advise you to have additional testing done.
If your results produce a critical value, a representative from Medivo will immediately notify you by phone, and advise you to seek the attention of a healthcare professional as soon as possible.
Are your Health Screening Tests accurate?
Our contracted laboratory uses the same type of lab tests that you would receive at many doctor's offices and hospitals. Please be assured you are testing with the most accurate tests available. All lab tests offered by TestMeHealth.com are performed by an accredited laboratory. Although modern health screening tests are extremely accurate, however, there is a slight risk that a test will not detect abnormal values.
Shouldn’t I just see my doctor for a Health Screening test?
You should discuss health concerns with your healthcare provider. We arrange for consumer directed health testing with confidentiality, convenience and cost savings. You may not be able to receive these same benefits from your healthcare provider. However, after you receive your test results, and especially if your test results are abnormal, you will need to speak with a healthcare provider to determine your next steps and best treatment options. TestMeHealth.com does not provide healthcare advice, treatment, or diagnosis services.
Can I really get tested today?
Yes! After you choose your Health Screening Test(s), you will pick a local patient testing center convenient for you - you do not have to make an appointment to get tested. Just print out your Lab Order Requisition form, which is supplied after you check out, and bring it to the local patient testing center during their normal business hours. If you order tests after the local testing center has closed, you can get tested during normal business hours on the following business day.
